Build the binder
Open all 90 cards as a new binder, most red first. It takes 10 pages in a 9-pocket binder (5 sheets). Swap in your own cards, then tick ✓ what you own so the rest becomes your want list.
Adds a new binder to your workspace. Nothing you already have is changed.
How we picked them
Each card image was shrunk down and every pixel sorted by hue, ignoring greys, whites and near-blacks. A card made the list when red covered a large share of it and clearly beat every other color. Trainer and Energy cards are left out so the pages are all Pokémon, and no Pokémon appears more than twice so the binder stays varied.
Color is measured on the whole card, frame included, because that's what you see when the binder is open. If a pick looks off to you, swap it out: the template is just a starting point.
Tips for a red binder
- Use red as an anchor. One strong red spread at the start or end of a binder frames everything in between.
- Sort from deep to bright. Put the darkest crimson cards on the left page and the brightest scarlet on the right for a smooth fade.
- Break it up with black. A page of near-black cards between red spreads makes the red feel even hotter.
